The 2021 Largemortgageloans.com Biannual Awards Ceremony took place in the LML Canary Wharf office. The team was delighted to have an occasion to be reunited again. Standout individuals were awarded a bottle of champagne and Amazon gift vouchers for commendable performances and a team lunch for all.
The recent lift in temperature and the easing of restrictions have raised the team’s spirits and morale. The last six months of the year have been an incredibly busy period in the UK property market, stimulated by initiatives such as the SDLT holiday and the Government’s 10% housing deposit scheme. Our team has been working tirelessly to support our clients and help get their property transactions over the line before the June 30th deadline. We were delighted to dedicate an afternoon to celebrate their hard work and effort.
Awards for Mortgage Associates and Executive Assistants
The first award was presented to Mortgage Associate Naomi Sillars, who was crowned Best Newcomer. Naomi is a Paraplanner who has spent the last six months honing her skills in a Mortgage Advising role. Naomi tirelessly supports our clients by providing robust advice and technical support while guiding them to ensure that they choose a mortgage product tailored to their needs.
Next, we presented an Outstanding Achievement Award to Anita Mackney in her role as an Executive Assistant. Anita diligently and consistently delivers excellent customer service, as evidenced by her record for receiving the highest number of 5-star reviews on Trustpilot.
Awards for Associate Directors
Associate Director Mark Pattanshetti’s reputation for hard work and dedication precedes him. Mark has obtained a record-breaking number of 5-star reviews on TrustPilot and has written a phenomenal number of mortgages over the last six months. Mark’s clients praise his excellent customer service and high level of technical knowledge in the expatriate, bridging and BTL market.
Associate Director Nigel Bedford was also awarded for his exceptional performance managing a substantial quantity of high-value mortgages. Paul’s polished organisational skills and diligent, proactive approach to client services has made him a popular choice with our clients.

Chief Operating Officer Yeliz Yusuf has shown remarkable adaptability over the past six months, undertaking multiple roles covering sales, marketing and compliance. Yeliz has done an outstanding job overseeing business operations, ensuring all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently under intense pressure. Yeliz has served 18 long years with LML.
Samera Bibi, our esteemed Accounts & Operations Manager, is renowned for her approach to teamwork. Samera deals with all business correspondence and works closely alongside CEO Paul Welch, while overseeing payroll and financial reports, and ensuring that the financial and operational aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently. Samera manages responses from all corners of the business and frequently works well beyond her scope of the post.
